Escape and Suspense has not one but two radio adaptations, 1944 and 1946, of The Black Path of Fear, the first Cornell Woolrich story I ever encountered. That’s not counting Hitchcock’s Rear Window, y’understand, which is based on a Woolrich short story.
In The Black Path of Fear, a couple is honeymooning in Cuba when the wife is stabbed in a crowd. The husband is accused of the crime, and has to prove his innocence.
